This week I am playing Fran Bow at the request of my son. He gifted me this game last Christmas with two instructions. First, he wanted to watch me play through it. Second, I was to avoid any information about the game until I played so I could have a pure, unspoiled experience. For some reason, I thought Half Air might be a good place to document this play through. Now I'm not so sure that was the wisest choice. I did at least know that Fran Bow was considered a horror game. Typically, as far as video games are concerned, that usually translates into a creepy atmosphere, maybe some jump scares, but that's about it. As it turns out, this game is a bit more gruesome than I anticipated. In fact, it might be pushing the limits of what I had intended to post on this site. That being said, I am going ahead and posting the first episode here, and probably continue the series only on the Half Air YouTube channel. Please be aware, this game deals with mental illness and some of the subject matter and imagery may be disturbing. If you feel this might be a problem, you may want to pass. Otherwise...enjoy?! BTW, in case you were concerned, my son is in his twenties and knew very well what he was doing.
